Two cutting edge e-commerce leaders have donated goods and services to Harold Washington College in Chicago. The Hostway Corporation and Miva Corporation have combined to give Harold Washington College the technology to be at the forefront of e-commerce education. Miva has donated 35 licenses for their Miva Merchant e-commerce software package and Hostway will be providing the server to support the software. The value of these donations is over $25,000. 

“The partnership between Miva, Hostway and Harold Washington College allows us to provide a low-cost e-commerce curriculum to the residents of Chicago,” said Harold Washington College President Nancy De Sombre. “With the explosion of internet based retailers demand has been high for us to offer courses in e-commerce. Thanks to the generosity of Miva and Host way we are able to fill this need,” continued President De Sombre.
