Help Desk people for our growing Sydney Office.

Responsibility
Working as part of a team you will be actively involved
in the building, configuring, implementing and supporting
of our extensive web-hosting infrastructure. Part of your
role will also involve the set up and administration of
services as-well as client support.
In this regard a strong customer focus is critical.
Responsibilities also include maintaining SLAs on Web Infrastructure,
through proactive monitoring, security hardening and patching
and regular maintenance, and infrastructure software upgrades,
and also including rostered after hours on call monitoring
and support as needed.
The people we are looking for should have 2 years experience
in either web hosting or LAN/WAN infrastructure and technologies
such as backup, CISCO Routering and switching. Server clustering
and load balancing experience would be looked upon favourably.

Duties:
• Analytical and structured problem solving
skills and be able to analyse, diagnose
and troubleshoot root cause technical
problems.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 2000 Server,
IIS and UNIX operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge of DNS, Mail, HTML and basic
WWW services.
• Working knowledge of Unix operating system.
• Advanced knowledge of IP networking.
• Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and
protocols.
• Experience in IT operational environment·
Firewalls functions as well as Antivirus
and other security packages expertise
is an advantage.
• Knowledge of VB, ASP and UNIX scripting will
be highly valued.
• A high level of demonstrated expertise with
Windows 2000 Server, Networking Services.
• Expertise in monitoring and performance tuning
at the operating system and hardware level.
• Possess an ability to utilise your technical
knowledge in the continuous improvement
of procedures and policy.
• Experience with implementing and testing BCP
recovery.
Expertise in consulting, design and project
methodologies.
• Ability and desire to produce and maintain
high quality accurate technical documentation.
• Good general knowledge of networking infrastructure.
